Thomas the Tank Engine ready for Oklahoma City visit

Thomas the Tank Engine will be charged up and ready to go for the 2013 Day Out With Thomas at the Oklahoma Railway Museum, Friday through Sunday and again on Oct. 4-6, in Oklahoma City.

Thomas the Tank Engine will be charged up and ready to go for the 2013 Day Out With Thomas at the Oklahoma Railway Museum, Friday through Sunday and again Oct. 4-6.

Thomas will be at the museum at 3400 NE Grand Blvd. Kids can take a 25-minute ride with Thomas the Tank Engine of the popular “Thomas and Friends” TV series. Children also will have a chance to meet railway controller Topham Hatt and have fun in Imagination Station.

For tickets, go to www.oklahomarailwaymuseum.org or call toll free at (866) 468-7630. Tickets also are on sale at the museum. Tickets are $18 for ages 2 and older for Saturday and Sunday. Friday tickets are $16 each. Ticket purchases of 20 or more are $14 each.

Children younger than 2 ride free. Service charges apply for advance purchases, and all ticket sales are final.

Thomas the Tank Engine will be running at 9 a.m., 9:50 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:20 p.m., 1:10 p.m., 2 p.m., 2:50 p.m., 3:40 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
