On a night full of big plays by the Douglass Trojans, Deondre Clark reached an impressive personal milestone with his 50th career quarterback sack in Friday’s 54-0 win over Tecumseh.

Clark set the Douglass school record for sacks in a season with 22 a year ago, and he showed his athletic ability on offense Friday night as well. He scored two rushing touchdowns, including a 68-yarder in the third quarter.

Seven of the Trojans’ eight touchdowns went for 57 yards or more, with sophomore quarterback Patrick McKaufman throwing three long touchdown passes on his way to a 300-yard night.

Linebacker Johnny Jones also returned an interception 63 yards for a score.

Douglass (3-1, 1-0) leaves Oklahoma City for the first time this season, heading to Mannford for another District 4A-2 game next Friday.
