SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Oklahoma won 35-21 at Notre Dame on Saturday, improving their season record to 4-0 entering next weekend's conference game against TCU at home.

Here's what OU and Notre Dame players and coaches had to say after the Sooners' win.

* Senior cornerback Aaron Colvin, on moving forward from Saturday's win: “It felt good to get the win on the road in a place like this, with so much tradition and so much history. We haven't beaten these guys in a long time, but at the same time, for me being a leader, I've gotta get this team ready for TCU. We'll enjoy the win today, Saturday, but Sunday, we're gonna get on the ball.”

* Co-offensive coordinator Jay Norvell: “This is a very satisfying victory.”

* Sophomore receiver Sterling Shepard, on playing for redemption: “We definitely had a big chip on our shoulder. The coaches were talking about how they were ahead back in the day (by 16 points in 1999) and (Notre Dame) ended up coming back and beating them in the fourth quarter. We stressed keep pushing in the fourth quarter and finish the game off.”

* Senior center Gabe Ikard, on OU fans who made the trip: “A big thank you to our fans. That's the most red you've ever seen at a green out. Thanks for supporting us and they gave us a shot today.”
