An Oklahoma City man was charged Tuesday with first-degree manslaughter in the fatal shooting of his wife, court records show. Bernard Eugene Morris, 57, admitted to shooting and killing his wife, 53-year-old Cynthia Morris, the morning of Sept. 23, according to the probable cause affidavit. He was climbing into bed with a gun when it went off, fatally shooting her in the chest, the affidavit states.

Three men were arrested in a Wagoner County sting initiated after authorities received reports of sexual activity in a park area near U.S. 69, Sheriff Bob Colbert reported Tuesday. Deputies dressed in civilian attire worked the area and were solicited for sex, the sheriff said. Brian Helt, 39, of Oktaha, was arrested on complaints of indecent exposure and engaging in lewdness. Robert Taylor, 47, of Porter, was arrested on a complaint of indecent exposure. Larry Terry, 64, of Coweta, was arrested on a complaint of engaging in lewdness.
