NORMAN — Tulsa Union senior tight end Carson Meier, who is committed to play college football at Oklahoma, will play in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, joining fellow OU commit Dallis Todd.

Meier’s jersey will be presented Friday before kickoff of Union’s homecoming game against Stillwater.

Meier (6-foot-7, 220 pounds) committed to OU in May. His Tulsa Union teammate, wide receiver Jeffery Mead, is also an Oklahoma commit.

Todd, from La Mirada, Calif., committed to Oklahoma on April 15.

The Semper Fidelis game will be played Jan. 5, 2014 at 6 p.m. at the Stubhub Center in Carson, Calif., and will be televised by Fox Sports 1.
