by Jacob Unruh Modified: October 4, 2013 at 2:05 pm •  Published: October 4, 2013

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Where: Jelsma Stadium

Records: Western Heights 0-4, 0-1 District 5A-2; Guthrie 4-0, 1-0

Last week: Northwest Classen 25, Western Heights 12; Guthrie 63, Guymon 0

Players to watch: Western Heights — JP Lewis, QB. Lewis a nice dual-threat option for the Jets, but he will have his hands full against the Bluejays’ defense.

Guthrie — Reed Roberts, QB. Roberts has taken over the position admirably, throwing for 348 yards and five TDs. Guthrie doesn’t throw often, but when it does Roberts is showing he can get the job done.

Storylines: Western Heights — Trying to slow down Guthrie’s offense will be tough. The Bluejays have outscored their opponents by an average of 52-9.

Guthrie — The schedule has been light to start the season, but the Bluejays have handled it well. Friday night will be the last of the light schedule for a bit with No. 1 Carl Albert looming next week.

The pick: Guthrie 49, Western Heights 12
