Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Tulsa, was released from the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa on Tuesday and went home to recuperate from quadruple bypass surgery, Inhofe spokeswoman Donelle Harder said.
Inhofe had severe blockage in four arteries and had emergency surgery on Friday; the situation was only discovered after it showed up on images from another medical test.
Inhofe, 78, said in an interview on Monday that he felt great. Harder said it would likely be two weeks before the senator returns to Washington.
