Here's the Thunderstorm Outlook for later this week in the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office coverage area

The National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office “Hazardous weather outlook” states under the “Thunderstorm outlook” for this week that, “There is a chance of thunderstorms across northwestern Oklahoma Thursday night into early Friday when a strong storm system moves across the Southern Rockies and Central Plains. Severe storms are not likely Thursday night into early Friday.

“A series of storm systems will bring chances for showers and storms Friday through Tuesday. A few strong to perhaps severe storms with hail, gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall are possible Friday through Tuesday. Widespread severe weather is not expected.”

Under the category of ”Other hazardous weather,” The combination of breezy south winds, low humidity and warm temperatures may elevate fire danger across parts of western Oklahoma and western north Texas Thursday and Friday.”
