BETHANY — Even though he scored three touchdowns to lead Seminole to a 41-0 win over Bethany on Friday night, Papi White was still thinking about the things he did wrong.
White scored on runs of 50, 20 and 80 yards en route to a 241-yard night, but White wasn't one to let himself off the hook for a missed extra point and a second-half fumble that came on one of his best runs of the night.
“I'm excited to get the W, but the fumble was a little frustrating,” he said. “I wish I could have that one back, but overall it was a really good night on both sides of the ball for us.”
Seminole coach Mike Snyder had high praise for the senior who has made a habit of long touchdown runs this season.
“He's a special player,” Snyder said. “He's had about six long runs this year and about 30 over the last two years. People don't realize how good of an athlete he is until they see him play. He was a state long-jump champion. He's one of the best running backs in Oklahoma.”
