Forecast that includes maps from the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office for today and tonight (as of Monday morning)

From the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office: ”Rain chances will

increase across the area this morning with the best rain chances across parts of

southern and southeastern Oklahoma where locally heavy rainfall is possible.

Very little to no thunder is expected through 2 p.m. today.”

“Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will affect between 2 p.m. and

9 p.m. with the highest rain chances over parts of southern and

southeastern Oklahoma where heavy rainfall is possible. A few strong storms with

small hail and gusty winds may develop over northwest Oklahoma.”

“Rain chances will continue near and ahead of a cold front tonight. No severe storms are

expected, however a few strong storms with heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and

small hail are possible. Cooler conditions will move into the area behind a

cold front late tonight.”
