— Oklahoma sophomore wide receiver Trey Metoyer was charged Tuesday with two felony counts of indecent exposure in Cleveland County, according to court documents.

The news was first reported by SoonerScoop.com, the Rivals network site that covers OU.

Late Tuesday night, Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops announced that Metoyer had been suspended from the team indefinitely.

“Trey has not been with us since prior to the TCU game and at this time I do not anticipate that he will return to the team in the future,” Stoops said.

Metoyer caught two passes for 18 yards and a touchdown in four games this season.

Metoyer arrived in Norman as a five-star prospect from Whitehouse, Texas, and started the first four games of his true freshman season in 2012.

But he fell out of the lineup and rarely played as the season progressed, finishing with 17 catches, 148 yards and one touchdown.

Metoyer originally signed with the Sooners in the class of 2011, but academic issues forced him to spend that fall at Hargrave Military Academy.
