Guide to Dibble at No. 5 Oklahoma Christian School

by Jacob Unruh Modified: October 17, 2013 at 2:05 pm •  Published: October 17, 2013

When: 7:30 p.m., Thursday

Where: Oklahoma Christian School

Records: Dibble 4-2, 1-2 District 2A-2; OCS 4-2, 1-1

Last week: Christian Heritage 67, Dibble 46; Millwood 42, OCS 35

Players to watch: Dibble — Tazden Jevons, RB. Jevons is a bruising running back that can take over a game. But he may be needed most at linebacker to help slow down the Saints.

Bonus: Check out this Friday Night Lights feature on Jevons and breaking horses.

OCS — Connor Sikes, WR. Sikes caught three touchdowns and totaled 164 yards receiving during last week’s loss to Millwood. He also had some big kick returns to keep swinging momentum toward the Saints.

Storylines: Dibble — Slowing down the Saints’ offense. Last week was abysmal against Christian Heritage and quarterback Colton Lindsey. OCS will look to do the same with its plethora of athletes.

OCS — Slow down Jevons. The Saints failed to slow down the run last week, leading to their demise. Coach Derek Turner will made some adjustments.

The pick: OCS 35, Dibble 21
