Guide to Putnam City North at U.S. Grant

Evan O'Brien Published: October 17, 2013

Here’s a look at Thursday night’s matchup between Putnam City North and U.S. Grant at Star Spencer’s Twidwell Stadium:

Last Week: PC North won its second straight, upsetting Midwest City 21-20. US Grant remained winless losing to Norman North 54-0.

Preview: After a 0-4 start, head coach Bob Wilson’s Panthers have rallied, winning two straight and keeping their playoff hopes alive. This week they head to Star Spencer to take on the US Grant Generals. The Panthers have been on a roll and it should continue tonight. US Grant has been known to struggle and have done so this year again. The defense is giving up 50 points per game and their offense has only scored 16 points in their three district games. The Panthers have finally found their groove and will look to make it three in a row tonight. The Panthers just have to execute their offense and limit turnovers and this one should be a win.

The Pick: This is about as easy as it gets. The Panthers get their first blowout win of the year, 49-7.
