Moving Week in Class 6A resulted in some noticeable shuffling of the rankings, including significant jumps by Lawton and Tulsa Washington after big wins.

Lawton’s second impressive win — and second 50-point offensive outing — against a highly regarded team, the Wolverines jump from No. 6 to No. 3 in this week’s poll. The 50-33 win over Edmond Santa Fe has been Lawton’s biggest win during its unbeaten season.

Edmond Santa Fe slipped down to Lawton’s previous spot at No. 6, while Westmoore, following a respectable 24-0 loss to No. 1 Jenks, held its spot at No. 5.

In 6A’s biggest surprise of the week, Tulsa Washington knocked off No. 7 Owasso, and thus, replaced the Rams in the poll, taking the No. 10 spot.

Here’s The Oklahoman’s new Class 6A poll:

Rank, Team, Record (Prev.)
1. Jenks, 7-0 (1)
2. Tulsa Union, 5-2 (2)
3. Lawton, 7-0 (6)
4. Broken Arrow, 5-2 (3)
5. Westmoore, 6-1 (5)
6. Ed. Santa Fe, 5-2 (4)
7. Norman North, 5-2 (8)
8. Edmond Memorial, 5-2 (9)
9. Bixby, 5-2 (10)
10. Tulsa Washington, 5-2 (NR)
Dropped out: Owasso, 3-4 (7)
