The Oklahoman's Class A rankings: Top teams keep winning

No big surprises in Week 8 of the football season across the board in the Class A top 10.

All 10 teams held their positions after adding victories last week, so the poll remains the same.

On the outside, a few teams are making some noise. Apache improved to 7-1 and is still right on the edge. Cashion had an impressive win to improve to 6-2. Afton and Savanna also moved to 7-1 on the season. Fairview, after a rough start, picked up a strong win over Texhoma to improve to 5-3, and there are a few other 6-2 teams not far off either.

But for now, The Oklahoman’s Class A rankings remain like this:

Rank, Team, Record (Prev.)
1. Ringling, 6-1 (1)
2. Hollis, 7-0 (2)
3. Wynnewood, 7-1 (3)
4. Kiefer, 8-0 (4)
5. Minco, 7-1 (5)
6. Thomas, 7-1 (6)
7. Okeene, 7-1 (7)
8. Talihina, 8-0 (8)
9. Morrison, 7-1 (9)
10. Summit Christian, 8-0 (10)
Dropped out: None
