Here's a look at what players and coaches were saying after Oklahoma State's 52-34 win over Texas Tech on Saturday:

Oklahoma State fullback Derek Branson on his punt block: “They run that traditional punt kind of like they do in the NFL, so his personal protector came up and counted, ‘You block him, you block him,' and I kind of shifted to the other side. The center went the other way, and it just opened like the Red Sea. I said, ‘I'd better block this thing.' Luckily, I did.”

Texas Tech tight end Jace Amaro on his first-half fumble: “I guess I was trying to do too much. I thought I had good control of the ball. It's not like the hit caused the fumble. I just lost it in midair. That's just one of the things where I just need to focus more on that. That's totally on me.”

OSU defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer on the game: “I wish a couple of our scores wouldn't have been so quick. It felt like we were scoring fast or punting fast, and neither one of them was exceptional for our rest. But I'd much rather have the scores fast.”

OSU coach Mike Gundy on the Cowboys' scores early in the second half: “After we scored, we really felt like we settled down their crowd.”

Texas Tech linebacker Pete Robertson on the defense: “We just had busted assignments, and people weren't filling their gaps, and they just had big plays on third down.”

Texas Tech wide receiver Jakeem Grant on the loss: Our team is very upset. This is our second loss — our second-straight loss. I feel like we can come back and we can overcome this because we have lost games in the past and we have won games, too. So I feel like, as a team, we can overcome this.”
