One of the week’s biggest upsets in any class brought change to the Class 4A poll, with McLoud knocking off previously No. 4 Ada 33-20.

With the loss — Ada’s first to a 4A opponent — the Cougars dropped to No. 9, just ahead of a Clinton team that appears to be getting healthy again, and could be a dangerous playoff opponent.

Other than Ada’s drop, the only movement in the poll was the teams moving up to fill Ada’s void.

Here’s The Oklahoman’s Class 4A poll:

Rank, Team, Record (Prev.)
1. Anadarko, 9-0 (1)
2. Wagoner, 9-0 (2)
3. Douglass, 8-1 (3)
4. Catoosa, 7-2 (5)
5. Woodward, 7-2 (6)
6. Sallisaw, 7-2 (7)
7. Cascia Hall, 8-1 (8)
8. Poteau, 8-1 (9)
9. Ada, 7-2 (4)
10. Clinton, 6-3 (10)
Dropped out: None
