Jurors in the sex crimes case against a fired Oklahoma City police officer listened to a 27-minute audio recording Monday of a fourth accuser initially denying to a detective that anything inappropriate ever happened but later saying she had to expose her breasts to the officer.

The recorded interview was played by Daniel Ken Holtzclaw's attorney during the accuser's testimony. The defense attorney contended the woman changed her story after the detective told her he was dealing with "a pretty bad guy" and that there were multiple victims.

Holtzclaw, 28, of Oklahoma City, denies the allegations and his defense attorney, Scott Adams, throughout the trial has tried to create doubt about each accuser's account. Holtzclaw also is accused of sex crimes against 12 other women.

The recording begins with the woman repeatedly telling Oklahoma City police detective Rocky Gregory that she has never had any inappropriate contact with a police officer. But the woman's story changed shortly into the interview.

"Did you have your breasts exposed?" Gregory asked. The woman is heard saying, "Yeah."

"Why did you do that?" the detective asked.

"Because he asked me to ... I had to raise my shirt up and raise my bra up and shake it out," the woman said on the taped interview.

Prosecutors allege Holtzclaw stopped the woman late March 14, 2014, while he was still on duty. They allege the woman was walking to a friend's house when she was stopped by Holtzclaw and asked about drugs. She then allegedly had to expose her breasts.

The woman testified Holtzclaw repeatedly pointed at the woman's breasts during their interaction.

She said she didn't tell police about what happened until a detective contacted her months later.

The woman said she didn't think police would believe her.

Gregory testified after the woman. He said the woman was on a list of possible victims he had put together after the investigation into Holtzclaw began.

He testified the woman "seemed to be extremely nervous" during the interview. He said her denial at first was related to her thinking she was in trouble. The detective noted "a past prostitution thing" related to the woman.

The detective also said he was trying to make his questions vague. The defense attorney contended that there was nothing vague about asking if she had ever had any inappropriate contact with a police officer.

The trial began Nov. 2 in Oklahoma County District Court and is expected to last through the month.
