Read updates below from the trial of Daniel Ken Holtzclaw. The Oklahoman's Kyle Schwab will be providing updates from the courtroom.

Holtzclaw will be tried in Oklahoma County District Court on 36 counts, including eight counts of rape. He also faces counts of sexual battery, forcible oral sodomy, burglary, stalking, indecent exposure and procuring lewd exhibition.

Holtzclaw was originally charged in August. He was fired from the police department in January.
