Grain futures fall, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures fell Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 5.75 cents to $6.975 a bushel; July corn fell 4.75 cents to $6.5725 a bushel; July oats fell 5.25 cents to $3.65 a bushel; while July soybeans dropped 23.25 cents to $14.7625 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 1.45 cent to $1.2057 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 1.90 cent to $1.4455 a pound; June lean hogs rose 0.67 cent to 94.87 cents a pound.
