GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — This year's BMW Charity Pro-Am gave out more than $634,000 to 27 charities in South Carolina's Upstate region.
Officials presented checks to representatives of the participating charities Thursday. Organizers say the Web.com Tour event has raised more than $9 million to charities since 2001.
Nick Flanagan of Australia won his second BMW Charity Pro-Am title in May. He outlasted countryman Cameron Percy in three playoff holes to win the tournament.
The pro-am portion of the tournament was won Fabian Gomez and Brian Todd.
The event is played over three courses in the region and featured celebrities including Rob Morrow, Kevin Sorbo and Holly Sonders of The Golf Channel.
