LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky running back CoShik Williams is out for the season with a hip injury.

An MRI revealed a torn labrum that will require surgery for the fifth-year senior, who has missed three of the past four games. Williams had a team-high 62 yards on 10 attempts against Louisville.

Wildcats coach Joker Phillips said Wednesday that he feels" heartbroken for him because the guy has worked so hard." The coach says everybody knows Williams' story, coming "here as a non-scholarship guy and worked his tail off to be a starter and is now out for the rest of the season."

Juniors Jonathan George and Raymond Sanders, and freshman Dyshawn Mobley will share carries for Kentucky (1-4, 0-2 Southeastern Conference) in Saturday's game against No. 20 Mississippi State (4-0, 1-0).
