ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Departing for the Big East Conference in 2013, Central Florida enters its final Conference USA schedule hoping to turn around its recent luck against an East Carolina team that has dominated it the past five years.

ECU (3-2, 2-0 C-USA) enters Thursday night's matchup having won four of the last five meetings with the Knights (2-2, 0-0), including a 38-31 win last season.

The Pirates have conference wins against Southern Mississippi and UTEP and are trying to improve their league mark to 3-0 for just the third time since 2001. So far they have outscored league opponents 52-32. This will be ECU's second conference road trip of the season.

UCF coach George O'Leary will have back starting running back Latavius Murray, who injured his shoulder in the Knights' season opener.
