CBS Sports Network releases schedule

NEW YORK (AP) — Teams from 16 conferences in 172 games are on CBS Sports Network's schedule for 2012-13.

The network, which starts its 10th season showing college basketball, released the schedule Thursday.

The schedule includes five preseason tournaments: Paradise Jam, Cancun Challenge, Great Alaska Shootout, Global Sports Classic and South Padre Island Invitational. The first games shown will be from the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands with Connecticut, and first-year coach Kevin Ollie, facing Wake Forest and UIC against New Mexico.

The first regular-season game is Villanova at La Salle on Nov. 25.

Among the conferences which will appear on the network are: the ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, Big East, SEC, Pac-12 and Atlantic 10.
