DALLAS (AP) — Baylor has joined Texas Tech and TCU as closing a deal with Fox Sports for expanded programming primarily on one of the network's regional carriers.

The multiyear deal announced Friday includes one football game a year on Fox Sports Southwest, Fox Sports Southwest Plus or Fox College Sports. The deal will allow for the airing of live events in other sports, including some men's and women's basketball.

The deal is part of Fox Sports Southwest's push to, in the words of general manager Jon Heidtke, be "bullish on the Big 12." The network reaches 9 million homes in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
