The Bulgarian Football Union says Minev will miss Bulgaria's home match against Denmark next Friday, and against the Czech Republic in Prague on Oct. 16.
Minev, who was not punished by the referee during the team's 1-0 win against Armenia on Sept. 11, was also fined 6,000 Swiss francs ($6,500) by football's world governing body.
Bulgaria coach Lyuboslav Penev has called up CSKA Sofia defender Ivan Bandalovski to replace Minev.
