Okla. tied for 2nd, Okla. St. 7th in Big 12 poll
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma is tied for second with West Virginia and Oklahoma State is picked to finish seventh in the Big 12 women's preseason college basketball poll.
Defending conference and NCAA champion Baylor is picked first in the voting by conference coaches.
Baylor received nine of 10 first place votes with the coaches not allowed to vote for their own team.
Conference newcomer West Virginia received the other first-place ballot.
Kansas is fourth in the poll — followed by Texas; Iowa State; OSU; Texas Tech; Kansas State and TCU.
