Special events on Saturday and Sunday will include the display of new exhibits, book signings and a concert. The center also will premiere of a new high-definition video that pays tribute to the life and service of MacArthur.

Opening exhibits include a Harley Davidson motorcycle from World War II and the general's 1950 Chrysler limousine.
