ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Football players don't have to be the only ones to shed a little blood at the Big House.
The University of Michigan is inviting the public to Michigan Stadium on Sunday to donate blood, sign up for organ donation or register as a possible bone marrow donor.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the stadium's club-level seating area. Participants can get a look at Michigan's Sugar Bowl trophy from last season. Blood donation appointments can be made at www.wolverinesforlife.org .
The first 1,000 people will receive a free T-shirt. Parking is free at the stadium, and shuttle buses will also be running from the Michigan Union.
