LONDON, Ky. (AP) — Prayer rallies are being planned in eastern Kentucky as one way to fight against drug abuse.

WYMT-TV (http://bit.ly/SYRvSt) reports the Fire in the Mountains rally will be held on Sunday in three locations — Somerset Christian School, the old Civic Center in Corbin and the Pikeville Expo Center.

Community members and church congregations plan to gather at the locations and pray for the same things.

Karen Kelly with Operation Unite, a regional anti-drug agency in eastern and southern Kentucky, says the victims of drug abuse include the children and families of addicts so prayers at each location will focus on "addicts, their families, their children."
