Teens drug parents' milkshakes to use Internet

Have you ever wanted something so badly that you would do anything to get it?

Well, two teenage girls in California can relate.

A 16-year-old girl thought her parents’ Internet policy was “too strict,” so she enlisted a friend to help her spike their milkshakes at dinner with some kind of anti-anxiety medicine. An hour later, the couple passed out asleep, and the girls were able to use the Internet after 10 p.m.

The couple told police they had hangover symptoms the next morning and questioned their daughter. Both girls have since been both booked into Placer County Juvenile Hall.
