SEC, Big 12 have had discussions about a potential partnership

The SEC and the Big 12 Conference have had limited discussions about a partnership that includes regular-season football games between schools from the two leagues, The Birmingham News reported.

SEC Executive Associate Commissioner Mark Womack said his league would "keep an open mind" on the the situation.
Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby has said the Big 12 is working on possible alliances with the ACC and two other leagues.
