SAN DIEGO (AP) — A woman killed along with her mother and her son in the weekend's tour bus crash in the Southern California mountains was a doctor, part of a group of 10 people from a Tijuana, Mexico hospital who made the trip.

Hospital spokesman Samuel Gasca de los Reyes said Tuesday that the tight-knit group of 10 people — six hospital employees and four of their family members — made the trip to the Big Bear ski resort on Sunday.

The employees' positions ranged from receptionists to doctors like 40-year-old Elvira Garcia, who was killed along with her 13-year-old son Victor Cabrera-Garcia and her 61-year-old mother Maria Guadalupe Olivas.

The seven survivors from the group were injured and sent to hospitals. Five have been released and two remain.
