BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — The Dress for Success program that's been outfitting and preparing women who are searching for jobs is expanding to Buffalo.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and Dress for Success Chief Executive Joi Gordon will help launch the program in western New York on Friday.

Women are given a free professional outfit for job interviews, lessons on how to write a resume and cover letter, tips for interviews and access to a computer lab.

The New York City-based nonprofit also gives women a full week's wardrobe when they land a job.
