SEFFNER, Fla. (AP) — Crews plan to begin demolishing a Florida home that sits over a huge sinkhole that swallowed a man.

The demolition was expected to begin Sunday morning, a day after authorities called off the search for 37-year-old Jeff Bush. He is presumed dead by authorities.

Bush was in his bedroom Thursday night when the ground opened up and swallowed him and everything else in the room.

Rescuers decided that they couldn't continue searching for him because the unstable house sitting over the hole is too dangerous.

The crew will try pulling part of the house away from the sinkhole intact so some of the residents' keepsakes can be retrieved.
