Flagstaff police find missing young autistic boy

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities in northern Arizona say they're found a missing 11-year-old autistic boy from Flagstaff.

Flagstaff police say Brandon Shinko was last seen at Kinsey Elementary School near Northern Arizona University at 11 a.m. Monday when he disappeared.

Authorities say Brandon was located about 6:30 p.m. near Harkins Theatres.

Flagstaff Police Sgt. James Jackson tells the Arizona Daily Sun (http://bit.ly/WrWIa8 ) the boy was "safe and sound" and would be reunited with his family.

Authorities say Brandon was off his medication, but it wasn't immediately clear why he disappeared.
