Mourinho's act could be an audition for United
MADRID (AP) — If Jose Mourinho was auditioning for the Manchester United manager job, he put forth a worthy performance.
The Real Madrid coach led his team to a 2-1 victory over United at Old Trafford on Tuesday and into the Champions League quarterfinals. But before the final whistle even blew, Mourinho was putting the spotlight on himself.

He walked over to United manager Alex Ferguson and whispered a few words into the 71-year-old coach's ear. Mourinho then made his way down the tunnel and out of sight as his team played out the final few seconds. And once the match actually ended, it was Mourinho who said that United was the better team.
Mourinho said "I try to be honest and in my opinion, the best team lost."
