BELFAST, Northern Ireland (AP) — Heavy snow has led to Northern Ireland's World Cup qualifier against Russia being postponed until Saturday in Belfast.

Snow began to fall overnight and persisted throughout Friday, coating the pitch at Windsor Park in a thick covering.

Russia has a four-point lead in Group F over Israel and Portugal, two teams which drew 3-3 on Friday. Northern Ireland is five points further back in fourth.
