NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Four exhibitions set to open next month at a New Orleans art museum will focus on works that documented the South's shift to a more industrialized society in the 1930s and 1940s.

The exhibits open April 18 at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art.

They are called: "To Paint and Pray: The Art and Life of William R. Hollingsworth Jr."; "Eudora Welty: Photographs from the 1930s and '40s"; "Walter Anderson: Selections from the Permanent Collection of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art"; and "Southern Regionalists from the Permanent Collection of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art."
