Nebraska museum sets Colorful Creature Day

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Colorful Creature Day at the Nebraska State Museum of Natural History will celebrate the fun, furry side of science.

The event is scheduled to run from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at the museum, which is in Morrill Hall on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln City Campus.

There will be live animals and art activities. Children will get a chance to learn about and interact with different creatures, including, spiders, birds, snakes and amphibians.
