Arts market is Saturday in Norman

— An arts market featuring work by local artists is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at West Wind Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 1309 W Boyd St.

The Winter Thyme Bazaar Art Market will offer handcrafted jewelry, wearable art, prints, paintings, glass art, ceramics, sculpture, books, knitted art pieces and paper art.

Live music will be provided by Jahruba. The Norman Belly Dancers also will perform. Jahruba will show and sell handmade African masks. Other featured artists include Sharon Farris and Susan Cogan.

Those attending the arts market are asked to bring donations of paper towels, tissues and toilet paper for the Women's Resource Center's domestic violence shelter. For more information, call Ed Kearns at 443-9627.
