— Tickets are on sale for Sooner Theatre's production of the Gershwin classic “Crazy for You,” starring students in the theater's summer production camp.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 2-4, and 2 p.m. Aug. 3-5. Tickets are $10.

The cast of 40 students is 13 to 18 years of age and represents aspiring actors from the metro area, including Oklahoma City, Moore and Norman.

Directed by Mat Govich and choreographed by Stephanie Govich and Stephen Casey, “Crazy for You” tells the story of Bobby Child, a well-to-do 1930s playboy whose dream in life is to dance.

The high-energy comedy features a case of mistaken identity, plot twists, dance numbers and classic Gershwin music.

The production is a professional-level show performed by students chosen to participate in a three-week summer camp that emphasizes music, dance, acting and play production, said executive director Jennifer Baker.
