BATESVILLE, Ark. (AP) — New Lyon College football coach Kirk Kelley is rounding out his staff as the school prepares to relaunch its football program.

The school says Ryan Morrow has been hired as an assistant coach for the Scots. Lyon is signing recruits this fall but won't play a full football schedule until 2015, when the team will join the Central States Football League in the NAIA.

Morrow is a graduate of Batesville High School and has spent the past two years coaching offensive linemen and tight ends in the Cedar Ridge School District. He also played football for Henderson State in college.

Lyon is resuming its football program, which was dropped in 1951.
