These six plans were presented to the board overseeing construction of the museum Aug. 26, 2004. The board selected the Vision Plan, despite having acquired less than a quarter of the project costs.

3. Minimal Plan, alternate No. 2: $69.6 million

4. Preferred Plan: $85.3 million

5. Preferred Plan, alternate No. 1: $91.9 million

6. Vision Plan: $136.1 million
