The Juggernaut, the national mud run series, made its Oklahoma debut in Edmond.

The event offers an opportunity to play in the mud and raise money for the fight against breast cancer through the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

“We are beyond thrilled to partner with The Juggernaut mud run series in an effort to raise much- needed funds for breast cancer screening, treatment and education programs right here in our own backyard,” said Lorna Palmer, executive director of the Central and Western Oklahoma Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Juggernaut is defined as a large, overpowering, destructive force or object, a giant battleship or a powerful team.

The race is a 3.1-mile adventure that has out-of-this-world obstacles that were simultaneously challenging, fun and a little muddy.
