Atoka's L.T. Pfaff now trails nobody when it comes to passing yards in Oklahoma. Pfaff threw for 392 yards and four touchdowns to set the state passing record in a 41-13 victory at Hugo on Friday night.

Pfaff needed 118 yards to break the record set by former Deer Creek, Owasso and Tulsa star Paul Smith.

"It feels good for him to earn this honor and get the recognition. He deserves it," coach Forrest Mazey said.

Mazey said the game was stopped when Pfaff broke the record, and Pfaff was presented with the game ball.

Pfaff has now thrown for 9,849 yards in his career. Atoka is now 4-1.
