AUGUSTANA, S.D. (AP) — Augustana head women's basketball coach Dave Krauth has reached a milestone of 500 career wins.

Krauth achieved the mark Saturday when his team beat Minnesota State 86-82.

Rhianna Gullickson told the Argus Leader (http://argusne.ws/1c5rqg6 ) that the team wanted the win for Krauth.

"We were just really ready to go," said Gullickson, who had 16 points and six rebounds. "Getting the win for coach was a big motivator for us. You could feel it in shoot-around before the game. We wanted this one."

All 500 of Krauth's wins have come with the Vikings. He has compiled a 500-217 record in 25 seasons.

The Vikings captured the first conference title in school history last season under Krauth, who had posted nine straight 20-win seasons and 13 NCAA tournament appearances.

The school said Krauth became the 20th coach in Division II women's basketball history with 500 career wins.
