Many may be familiar with the stories of these women, but Higgs brings a fresh and engaging perspective that is needed not just at this time of year, but year-round.

With humor and the wisdom of a Bible teacher, Higgs shows how these women's lives intersect with the life of Jesus and how our own lives do the same — if we prepare our hearts and made room for Him.

That is what the women who share the spotlight in this book do very well.

“In the end of the women of Christmas quietly stepped aside, making room for the One who truly matters. The Hero of our story,” Higgs wrote.

As a bonus, a study guide is included at the back of the book for individual and small-group study.
