Authorities are investigating a fire and death in Oklahoma City. A body was found in a fire in southeast Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Authorities Monday were investigating the death of a man found a day earlier in a fire in southeast Oklahoma City.

Firefighters went to 506 SE 34 at 5:25 a.m. Sunday, where a man’s body was found, Oklahoma City Fire Department Deputy Chief Marc Woodard said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and Woodard said police also are investigating the case.

The victim’s name had not been released.
