An Oklahoma County jail female inmate died Saturday after she was found unresponsive in a jail cell, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported.
The inmate, whose name was not released Sunday, was found unresponsive, and jail officials called paramedics, OSBI reported. OSBI agents are investigating the death.
The woman was in jail on complaints of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, OSBI reported.
The state medical examiner’s office will determine the woman’s cause and manner of death. Her name will be released after next-of-kin has been notified.
